Inventory value
What you're holding and what it's worth at current cost.
Needs Analytics
This report answers a money question, not an operations one: how much capital is sitting in your storeroom.
It shows each active item with its stock, its unit cost and its value, and at the top the total Inventory value.
How it's valued
At current cost: each item's stock times today's cost per unit.
Items with no cost aren't valued. They appear in the list but don't add up. If the total looks low, that's the first place to check — an expensive item with no cost entered vanishes from the total without a word.
What it's for
- Closing the month with an inventory figure that didn't come from a hand count.
- Seeing whether you're over-buying: a value that grows while sales don't is money sleeping.
- Spotting missing costs, which is what breaks your recipe margins.
