The welcome wizard
The five steps that open your place: name, kind of place, tools, menu and access.
The wizard opens your place in a couple of minutes. It doesn't ask for a card, and it doesn't ask for an account up front: you start working and create your sign-in at the end, once there's something worth keeping.
The steps
Your place
Write your restaurant's name. That's enough — Nantli infers country, timezone, currency and language, and shows them under Adjust details in case anything needs correcting.
It's worth checking now: currency and timezone belong to the property and shape every price and every report from here on.
What kind of place
Café, takeout, fast food, full service or fine dining. This shapes which tools are suggested to you; it doesn't lock you into anything.
Your tools
Nantli ticks what's typical for a place like yours. Add or remove whatever you want — everything starts free and without a card, and it can be changed later in Settings → Plan and products.
Your menu
Upload your menu however you have it — photo, PDF, spreadsheet, a handwritten sheet — or paste the text. Nantli lays it out into categories and prices for you to review. You can also carry on without a menu and add it later.
Your access
At the end you create your email and password. That saves everything the wizard did under your account.
After the wizard
Inside, a short list is waiting to finish setting the table: publish the menu, add your team, ring the first order. Tasks complete themselves as you work — there's nothing to tick by hand.
