Online payments
Take card payments on orders and bookings, straight into your account.
With online payments on, your guests pay by card when they order or book. The money lands straight in the restaurant's account — Nantli never touches it and takes no cut.
This is different from Plan and products: there you pay Nantli; here, people pay you.
Turning it on
Setup takes a few minutes: business details, identity and bank account. Select Turn on payments and follow the steps. If you leave it half-done, Continue setup picks up where you stopped.
It's configured by whoever holds the account.
Account status
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Payments on | All set. |
| Under review | Your details are being verified. |
| Details missing | More information is needed — the notice says which. |
| Inactive | Not set up. |
Separately it shows whether bank deposits are on. You can have payments active while deposits are still pending.
Charging online orders
The Charge online orders switch decides when a pickup order is paid:
- On — paid by card when ordered.
- Off — paid at pickup.
It needs your payments account set up and online ordering turned on in your Menu.
Booking fee
This is where what you charge to hold a table is configured:
- Amount, and whether it's flat per reservation or per person.
- From (party size) — only parties that size or larger are charged. Leave at 1 to always charge.
- What happens to the money — Fee (non-refundable) or Deposit (credited to the bill).
