Guests with points

Find a guest, read their point history, and correct a balance by hand.

Needs Loyalty

Loyalty → Guests is the list of who has points, how many, and what they're worth. Across the top is the program total: how many guests, how many points still to redeem, and what that's worth in money.

Finding a guest

Type a name, phone number or email. The list filters as you type.

By default only guests holding points appear. Switch to Everyone to also find someone who has already spent theirs — which is what you need when they call to ask.

Reading their history

Open a guest and you get their balance, what it's worth, and every movement with its date.

  • Earned — points from a sale. It carries the order number, and you can open it.
  • Redeemed — points spent as payment.
  • Adjustment — a correction by hand, with its reason and who made it.

Adjusting points by hand

When something went wrong — the server didn't attach the guest, or you want to make up for a wait — you can correct the balance without leaving the screen.

  1. Open the guest and select Adjust points.

  2. Choose Add or Subtract and enter how many points.

  3. Write the reason. It's optional, but it's what explains the movement six months from now.

  4. Select Apply adjustment. Nantli shows you the new balance before it saves.

Importing balances from another system

Coming from another loyalty program? Guests → Import balances takes a two-column file (upload or paste): phone or email, and the balance each guest should end up with.

Two things worth knowing:

  • A row leaves the guest at that balance; it doesn't add to it. That's why running the same file twice changes nothing the second time.
  • We match on phone and email, and never create new guests. Anyone we can't find is listed back to you so you can fix the file.

Before anything is written you see exactly what will change, guest by guest. Every movement lands in their history, under your name.
