Schedules
Build the week as a draft and publish it for your team.
Schedules are built a week at a time. While it's a Draft you can move things freely; once you Publish, your team sees it and the notice goes out.
Starting the week
Select Create starting draft and Nantli lays out the week with each person's usual shift and fixed days off, based on the rules you've set.
It's a starting point, not a result: you arrive at the week 80% filled in and only move what changed.
Editing a day
Tap a person's cell on a day and pick the type:
- Shift — enter start and end. If it crosses midnight, mark it Night.
- Day off — their rest day.
- Absence — pick the type. It's flagged so it can't be missed.
Cell notes are for the team: "come in through the back", "covering for Luis until six".
Publishing
Select Publish. The schedule moves from Draft to Published and a notice goes to the addresses set in Team settings.
You can go back to draft if you need to redo it — but say so, because your team has already seen the previous version.
