Publishing the menu

Publish a copy of your menu so guests can see it from a QR code.

Needs Digital menu

The digital menu is a public copy of your POS menu. Guests see it by scanning a QR code — no apps, no PDFs.

How publishing works

Your public menu is a frozen copy: when you publish, Nantli freezes a snapshot and that's what the world sees. Editing products in the POS does not change the public menu until you publish again.

That's on purpose. Nobody wants a half-entered price appearing on the table.

The screen warns you when there's a gap: "N products have changed since". That's your cue to Publish changes.

Presentation

  • Welcome line — a short line above the menu.
  • Show prices — turn it off if you'd rather have a menu without them.
  • Hidden categories — checked ones stay off the public menu. Useful for the staff menu or internal categories.

Presentation changes apply on the next publish.

Taking it offline

Take offline pulls the public menu without deleting anything. Printed QR codes stop showing the menu until you publish again.
