Sales
What you sold, what you were paid with, who sold it and what sold most.
Needs Analytics
Sales is the headline report: the whole period on one screen.
At the top you pick the range — Today, 7 days, 30 days or This month — and everything else answers to that choice.
The four numbers
| Figure | What it is |
|---|---|
| Sales | What you sold in the period, tips excluded. |
| Orders | How many checks were charged. |
| Average ticket | Sales divided by orders. |
| Tips | What your guests left, counted separately. |
Average ticket is the one that says most about a menu change: raising prices moves sales, but only a real change in what people order moves the ticket.
The breakdowns
- Sales by day — the shape of your week. Useful for spotting the day that's slipping before it becomes normal.
- Payment methods — what you were paid with. This is what you reconcile against your statement.
- Sales by staff — orders, sales and tips for each person.
- Sales by category — where the money comes from. Tap a category to filter the products by it.
- Top products — quantity, amount and share of total. You can search a product by name and filter by category.
