Sales

What you sold, what you were paid with, who sold it and what sold most.

Needs Analytics

Sales is the headline report: the whole period on one screen.

At the top you pick the range — Today, 7 days, 30 days or This month — and everything else answers to that choice.

The four numbers

FigureWhat it is
SalesWhat you sold in the period, tips excluded.
OrdersHow many checks were charged.
Average ticketSales divided by orders.
TipsWhat your guests left, counted separately.

Average ticket is the one that says most about a menu change: raising prices moves sales, but only a real change in what people order moves the ticket.

The breakdowns

  • Sales by day — the shape of your week. Useful for spotting the day that's slipping before it becomes normal.
  • Payment methods — what you were paid with. This is what you reconcile against your statement.
  • Sales by staff — orders, sales and tips for each person.
  • Sales by category — where the money comes from. Tap a category to filter the products by it.
  • Top products — quantity, amount and share of total. You can search a product by name and filter by category.
