Stations
Kitchen, bar, grill — where each ticket goes.
A station is a place where food is made: kitchen, bar, grill, pastry. Each product is assigned to one, so a ticket only reaches whoever needs to see it.
Without stations, the kitchen screen shows everything together and the bar has to read past the food to find its drinks.
Creating a station
Select New station.
Name it — Kitchen, Bar, Grill.
Pick a colour. It's how it's told apart at a glance on the kitchen screen.
Then assign each product to its station from Point of sale → Menu, in the Prep area field.
Products that skip the kitchen
A bottled drink from the fridge doesn't need making. Give it No prep and it won't appear on any screen — it's just charged.
Deactivating
An Inactive station stops receiving tickets without losing its setup. Useful for the grill that only works weekends.
