FAQ
The questions that come up most, answered once.
About the plan
Do I have to pay to start? No. Every product starts with free days and no card.
Can I subscribe to just the point of sale? Yes. It's bought product by product; you pay only for what you turn on.
Can I cancel whenever I want? Yes, from Settings → Plan and products. It's managed by whoever holds the organization account.
Does Nantli take a cut of my sales? No. Online payments go straight into the restaurant's account; Nantli never touches that money and takes no commission on it.
About day-to-day
Do I need internet to sell? The terminal is built to ride out short drops and catch up when it reconnects. Even so, a stable connection is what keeps the kitchen, the floor and the reports seeing the same thing.
Can I use Nantli on several terminals at once? Yes. Each device is set up with its own code and they all see the same floor.
How does my team sign in to the terminal? With a 4- to 6-digit PIN, not an email and password. Everyone needs their own.
What happens when someone leaves? Deactivate them in POS staff and set their status to Left in Team. Their history is kept.
About the data
Does changing a price affect yesterday's sales? No. Each line stores the price it was sold at.
Can an order be deleted? No. It's cancelled, and stays on the record as cancelled. A point of sale where checks disappear without a trace wouldn't be doing the job a point of sale is for.
Can I export my data? Reports are read in Analytics and the menu exports for delivery apps. If you need something else, write to us.
About multiple locations
Can I have more than one restaurant? Yes. Each is a property, with its own menu, team and currency. You switch between them from the sidebar.
Can I compare locations? Yes, in Analytics → Group.
Does my team see every property? Only the ones you give them access to, and with the role you give them in each.
About the public pages
Do my guests need an app? No. The menu, ordering, bookings and invoices all open in a browser.
What language do they see my menu in? Your property's language. Public pages never follow the preference of whoever opens them.
Why hasn't my public menu updated? Because it's a frozen copy. You need to Publish changes.
